Bad Lieutenant
This film is insanely amazing, it does however, take a few moments to get pass the indie feel. That indie feeling dissipates with extreme quickness in lieu of slow paced long hollywood acting, there is the nitty gritty New Orleans demeanor portrayed by none other than nicolas cage.. I KNOOOOOOOW Nicolas Cage, but his acting in this film carries the rest of the rag tag cast of misfits

Pirate Radio
What to say about this film, A british film about rock music in the early 60's. How could this not be entertaining you ask yourself. It is more of a hidden gem than diamonds in Africa

Brooklyn's Finest
This is my must watch film of the month to all the readers of this blog. I only had one discrepancy with this film and that was Richard Gere. He is a great actor but he had no business in this film, overall a wonderful movie. Some parts of this movie are overacted, but I doubt anyone will really notice.

An Enjoyable watch, more than something to do. Men beware don't watch this with your girl if you are in the business of being a "player". It will make you look as bad as your are if not worse. Good movie, must admit wasn't expecting a good movie from Ashton.

Cool Indie Film on love, what love is, and how people fall in love. This is not the greatest film but if you need something to do, this will definitely suffice on any day that you are love.

Sin Nombre
Before you think about calling your self a gangster, think about what it really entails, fame fortune platinum records, ooops that's rapping. This film is nothing like the rap music that is latent with gangster undertones. This movies Chronicles the life of a real gang member.. Choices is the bigger message.

Daybreakers
Another film brought to you by the critically acclaimed white people. If I didn't know any better I would think Ethan Hawke is retarded. I'm sorry that's not P.C. mentally challenged. Still, I do know that he is not retarded and I still think that he is slower the Leonardo Dicaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Matt Lauer Vs. Senator John McCain
When asked if the decision to select Palin as a running mate was a hasty one McCain repsonded, "I don't Know".
Sidenote: Pailn has recently been selected to contribute to Fox News providing commentation and analysis.

In The loop
Funny is an understatement for this british american political satire film. This would definitely go in the the must see category. An ethereal political atmosphere is created by what some would call profound british accents. A Sprightly and painless watch.

Let The Right One In
The Main Character Oskar has the sagacity of some sage of sorts. This is an indie film so for those who don't like good writing and character build up go to blockbuster and ask them what to watch. vampires has been beaten to death by the twilight fans, Let The Right One In has a certain
jena se qua that makes it worth the watch

Harry Brown
To be honest I stumbled upon this movie while looking for something else. Side note Michael Caine is one of my favorite actors. Let's just say he doesn't disappoint in Harry Brown. There is something about watching a good british film that just invigorates the mind. This is more than entertainment, Caine gives a brilliant performance showing that his skills are anything but spasmodic.

Wow, the best thing about this movie was the 2:36 trailer.I mean I really wasn't expecting much. It took me four tries to sit through the entire thing. Needless to say, I was angry at the end at how much time of my life I wasted and will never be able to get back. If however, you have nothing to do; please find something else to watch.

The Lovely Bones
Another Peter Jackson interpretation of a book, I will not complain. I may be going out on a limb. It is with my utmost certainty that you have never seen a murder mystery quite like this. To say the phantasmagoria in some scene transitions is mind blowing may very well understate what you are watching. When watching I caution viewers to maintain an open mind. The Lovely Bones brings new meaning to "things are not as they appear".

Sometimes I wonder what actually goes on in hollywood. Tobey Maguire reminds me of Leonardo DiCaprio's character in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Once past that minor fact the movie is more than worth the watch.

Up in the Air
Ok I must say for the record I had no intention of watching this, but I am glad to say that I did. The first 8-10 minutes are a little cheesy, and that is the only flaw I could find. Clooney gives a powerful performance and makes the viewer feel enamored with his character. This film has an extremely genuine feel, not the hollywood fluff that they attempt to force feed us.

Imagine living like this
For those of you who don't know, that's his house that one little cubby hole. Can you imagine bringing a girl back to that. The global economy is still hurting, and to think some people don't even know who Ben Bernanke is SMH.

AVATAR
This is a fun movie great entertainment however, it does have the feel of a super pocahontas. White man sent to conquer falls in love with the "indigenous" girl and gets most of her family killed. White man has some kind of epiphany that what he did was wrong and sets out to make it right. Avatar has pulled in some $200 million as of recent numbers.
